Loudermilk manages its operations with the Q-SYS control platform

Looking for a solution that offered flexibility and ease of use to organize and control meetings or events, the conference center Loudermilk found the perfect solution in plataforma Q-SYS.
Located in Atlanta (Georgia), This center needed a comprehensive audio solution, video and control. With a large ballroom, with capacity for 600 personas, an indoor amphitheater and versatile meeting rooms, The site is home to a number of local national and international organizations dedicated to making a difference in people's lives..
Loudermilk was looking to move away from disparate audiovisual hardware, in favor of a centralized solution that would improve efficiency and support. Existing equipment does not respond to changing customer needs and had difficulty managing the growing demand for outbound video conferencing, requiring expensive third-party assistance for setup. This process became a burden every time an event was scheduled.
To face these challenges, was chosen Performance audio & video (PAV) as an integrator, that determined an audio system, network video and control for the entire building, based on Q-SYS platform.
PAV successfully completed the initial phase of the installation, which included the executive board rooms, the ballroom and multipurpose spaces. The system is powered by redundant Q-SYS Core 110f processors, that manage the audio, video and control. Backup Q-SYS Core ensures events and meetings can continue without interruption.
Besides, have been integrated NC series PTZ conference cameras in every room, as well as touch screens Q-SYS TSC Series Gen 3 that allow users to control the video, the microphones, audio and presentations through a user control interface (UCI) simplified.
Los NV-32-H video endpoints They are also installed discreetly under the consoles and provide seamless video distribution, enhancing the visual experience of attendees and allowing them to participate in immersive and interactive presentations.
More agile operations
“Once the first phase is completed, many of the rooms can be plug and play, allowing users to start their events or meetings seamlessly”, states Jason Caponi, partner and director of operations at Performance audio & video.
In the ballroom, during large events where the entire facility is rented for speeches and presentations, the other rooms in the building can serve as overflow spaces. This means that, Even though the ballroom is full, attendees in these other rooms can simultaneously view the PTZ camera feed and the presentation.
“We've even implemented a split-screen approach where participants can see the presenter or the presentation, or both. Con Q-SYS, we can easily distribute any content to the rest of the building using the network”, Añade caponi.
