Powersoft brings sound amplification to Elland Road stadium

A triplet of amplification platforms Powersoft, including several models from its mission-critical Ottocanali series, power the new public address and voice alarm system (PAVE) state-of-the-art in this historic English stadium.

Inaugurated in 1897 and originally home to a semi-professional English rugby league team, the stadium Elland Road It has been the home of the three-time English football champion Leeds United FC.

Ottocanali equipment is complemented by two Unica 4K8 amplifiers, of the new Powersoft fixed installation series, in the banquet hall Pavilion, as well as with an amplifier ultracompact Medium 604 in the East Stand banquet area. All these platforms have EN certification 54 for use in PA/VA systems.

The Ottocanali series is designed for mission critical multi-zone facilities, compatible with a wide range of system control functions, alarms, GPI/O and monitoring.

DSP models installed in Leeds also include integrated digital signal processing, offering greater flexibility and meeting the club's rigorous safety standards, with zoning provided by MediaMatrix servers.

At Elland Road Stadium, Ottocanali amplifiers power eighteen systems Martin Audio Torus T1230 in the North Grandstand and the same number in the South; twenty-four in the west, thirty in the East and twelve additional in the corners of the stadium.

They have also installed ten Martin Audio speakers CDD12 at the rear of the West Stand for greater coverage, con subwoofers SXCF118 that complement the T1230 models throughout the stand.

The ceiling speakers in all stands are models Bosch EN54, that comply with the EN standard 54, with fifty additional RCF ceiling speakers in the South Stand concourses and other areas.
