Sustainability as a guiding principle

The initiative Sony Group Green Management 2030 (GM2030) establishes several medium-term objectives that will come into effect between 2026 y 2030, which include the reduction of total greenhouse gas emissions (GEI) throughout its value chain in more than one 25 % for the fiscal year 2030 and power supply 100 % renewable to all its operations for that same year. Other key objectives are to improve the circulation of resources by limiting the non-circular plastics no more than 30 % of product weight and eliminate plastic packaging for smaller products and in your retail stores to 2030. Regarding the products, recycled plastic SORPLAS™ from Sony has been integrated into the Bravia BZ-L series since the summer of 2023 in the 15 models.

Rik Willemse, director de Sony Professional Displays & Solutions Europe, comments that “WHEREAS 2026 will focus on demonstrating how technology can enhance creativity and transform everyday spaces into experiences. Whether it's an inspiring classroom, a smarter workplace or immersive commercial space, Our solutions are designed to help customers think bigger and work smarter., while supporting a more sustainable future”.

Visitors will be able to see Sony technologies not only at the company's stand, but also at the stands of its partners throughout the entire fair, further reflecting Sony's collaborative approach and the growing adoption of its products across the audiovisual landscape.
