Tennagels transforms the Celebrity XCel cruise ship into a continuous Led visual environment

The project carried out by the integrator Tennagels in the stern of this leisure boat contemplates the installation of more than 200 m² of Led display, with more than 80 million pixels, to create a continuous canvas that surrounds passengers as they pass through this area.

Manufactured and installed in record time, the German manufacturer and integrator Tennagels The unique LED display project on board the new cruise ship has been completed Celebrity XCel, located in the central area of ​​the stern of the ship, called Bazaar.

To create this experience of continuous and immersive viewing, Tennagels has used more than 200 m² of customized Led panels, with a pixel pitch 1.5 mm, to offer a canvas of 80 million pixels and a maximum brightness of about 1.000 nits, creating a multimedia structure that surrounds passengers passing through this new and busy area of ​​the ship.

In its development, Tennagels has combined numerous and varied curved Led elements, solving the complexity and scale of this multimedia installation, which includes a succession of Led visual arcs to simulate a tunnel, five more large format, indoor and outdoor, and culminates with a central LED dome, of 6.5×6,5 metros, with a curved inner surface.

For visual content, more than thirty outputs with 4K resolution, all of them synchronized with an advanced control system, to offer continuous playback of all elements, seamless.
