Art and spectacle merge in a spectacular projection of the work of Michelangelo
Thirty Panasonic laser projectors create this unique show about the masterpiece Michelangelo created in the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican.
Artainment Worldwide Shows, in collaboration with the Vatican Museums, has presented the live show Last Judgment. Michelangelo and the secrets of the Sistine Chapel; one of the most significant places in the history of world art becomes the protagonist of a spectacular multimedia story, in which technology and visual arts are at the service of storytelling and dissemination.
Designed by Marco Balich and carried out with the scientific advice of the Pope's Museums, Last Judgment, with original music composed by Sting, This sixty-minute live show is the first of its kind, where projection is the centerpiece of entertainment.
This show, of which more than have been sold 35.000 entries, has been on stage until a few weeks ago with a resounding success at the Auditorium Conciliazione in Rome, organized by the producer Balich Worldwide Shows.
A spectacular projection explains the history of Michelangelo's masterpiece and how he painted the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City, thirty high-brightness laser projectors from the manufacturer are used for staging Panasonic: eighteen of the PT-RZ31 model; ten PT-RZ21 and two PT-RZ12.
Audiences can enjoy 270° immersive projections explaining the origins of this world-famous masterpiece, as shown in the attached video.
