McDonald's installs Bosch sound in its new generation of flagship restaurants

McDonald's flagship restaurants in China, current and future, have the Bosch Plena Mixer Amplifier as the core of their sound system. This powers an LC6-100S-L compact in-ceiling speaker system..

Los McDonald´s flagship are the newest generation of burger restaurants. They have menu ordering services, table delivery, a newly integrated app, user points WeChat applet, mobile payment and electronic menus.

These locations have a self-contained ordering counter on the first floor, an interactive electronic game on the second floor, that uses vertical projections and somatosensory technology that allows you to kick a virtual ball, and a spiral staircase that connects both floors. To provide an appropriate acoustic environment, Each establishment has a commercial sound system designed with Bosch technology.

Each of the sound and public address systems of the flagship restaurants have integrated as their core the Bosch Plena Mixer Amplifier powering an LC6-100S-L compact in-ceiling speaker system.

The LC6-100S-L is an ideal solution for background and foreground music in restaurants, bares, terraces and shops. Consists of a high-performance subwoofer module, ceiling mounted, eight-inch speaker with a crossover filter to serve the four two-inch satellite ceiling speakers. The subwoofer connections accept audio signals. 4 ohm o 70/100 volts.

For each of the floor plans used by McDonald's flagship restaurants, Bosch has designed a specific speaker arrangement to offer optimal acoustics.

This has been developed using acoustic modeling software called Ease Address. “With acoustic analysis, “We are customizing the sound system for each restaurant to offer the best sound for each location.”, comments one of the Bosch designers.

All McDonald's flagship restaurants were awarded to Bosch, as well as other small restaurants.
